Tasks for Volunteers to Take On – Individuals or Groups
Below are projects for ACRES' office and nature preserves that are open for volunteers to take on. We need volunteer leaders who can take on a project alone, or who can gather a group of volunteers skilled and ambitious enough to take on a project. The leader will often need to be responsible for gathering the materials and equipment needed to do the project besides getting enough help to carrying out the work needed. We may have access to some materials. Except for an ACRES staff person showing you the location and giving instructions on the work needed, you will often be doing the project on your own.
