Southeast of Lagro in Wabash County. From Fort Wayne (I-69 exit 102B) travel southwest on US 24 to Huntington. SR 9 will join US 24 as it goes around Huntington. At the traffic light where US 24 turns, continue straight on SR 9 for about 3-½ miles more to Division Road. Turn right (west) onto Division Road and drive 7-½ miles. Then turn left (south) onto 600E. You will see the ACRES sign on the corner at 50S. Turn right (west) onto 50S and look for the ACRES parking lot on your left. If the gate is open you may drive into the preserve and park in the interior lot where most group functions are held. Driving distance from I-69 to the preserve is 32-½ miles.

Purchased from the Tribal Trails Girl Scouts of Kokomo in December 2003.  The 139.46 acres sit on the north side of the Salamonie Gorge, across from the Salamonie River State Forest.  Dedication through IDNR's Division of Nature Preserves pending.
