Fawn River

         Nature Preserve

Northwest of Orland, in LaGrange County. From Fort Wayne travel north on I-69 to exit 148 (US 20/Angola). Turn left (west) on US 20. After the highway curves around Otter Lake turn right (north) onto SR 327 and take it through Orland and all the way to the state line. There turn left (west) onto 800N (County Line Road). 800N will end at the juncture with Greenfield Road and a lane will continue straight from here. Follow the lane until you reach the Fawn River Preserve sign and an arrow. Driving distance from I-69/I-469 is 51 miles.

This 135.25 along the Michigan state border was acquired in 1996.
