Original northern 11.2 acre tract acquired in 1984, with a 9-acre attachment and a 8.6-acre separate south tract added later. A flood plain forest of the upper Cedar Creek canyon's unique geological feature showing glacial stream "pirating" of waters fro Eel River into St. Joe River drainage. giant green dragon, jack-in-the-pulpit and tall fern occupy old stream meanders and benches. |
